Spiritual progress – excerpt from The Way Out by John Roger

Spiritual progression is a continual process of leaving behind the
old, familiar patterns and venturing into the new.

When you’re working with a spiritual teacher, you’ll feel that it’s
like taking a trip with a good friend whom you trust and who knows the
road. Then the whole trip can become an adventure because you know
where you’re going and how to get there. There is no dilemma except as
you create it.

When you work with the Mystical Traveler, you might ask yourself if
you place your dilemma between you and the Mystical Traveler and the
love that is present. Once you tune to the Mystical Traveler and his
love, all dilemmas disappear and strength is present.
