I was fortunate enough to go and see Erasure in concert last night.
They are just remarkable and I even got up and danced to “Little respect” and “Blue Savannah”.
I have to confess that both these two songs (although very different) spark something inside me
that is beautiful. I really won’t even try to find the words to explain myself, as they would not do justice to how
I feel listening to these songs, lets just say it is almost something magical and definitely healing.
Music has the power to touch you in ways that no spoken word can ever do.
Music makes the world go round. Music has the power to heal. Music lifts our souls and music can reduce us to tears.
As a child I remember learning the words to songs even before I could say the ABC.
It lifts your spirit and in the moment of listening to your favourite song, all worries drift away.
Life is good, life is full of hope and promise.
Right here, right now, I will follow my heart and listen to joyful music to raise my souls vibrations and remember to dance.
“Where words fail, music speaks.”
