I stand this day,
in my own true light,
a person of worth,
at my fullest height.
The only time
I go down on my knees,
is to talk to a child,
say a prayer – when I please.
I’ve banished the darkness,
let go of the fear.
I’ve embraced myself,
most precious and dear.
I possess a treasure
deep in my soul,
a diamond of hope,
complete and whole.
This day, as I rise
to my fullest height,
the world is transformed
by my own true light.
