Our minds are like sponges. What we soak up around us is chewed up, swallowed, digested and then sent out in our thought process. Have you ever watched a movie only to end up dreaming about it, or having a nightmare based on what you watched earlier.
Our thoughts dictate our actions. There is a saying I heard years ago and I think of it often today.
“Your head is a dangerous place, don’t go in there alone”. If it weren’t so tragic it could actually be
considered to be funny. Sadly all to many people let their thoughts dictate their life.
Think pleasant thoughts and there is a good chance things will look better

Right here, right now I will focus on positive affirmations for today. I will avoid negative triggers, such as the news on tv. I will do an activity such as go for a walk, ride my bicycle or read something inspirational or positive to keep my thoughts on the right track.
