MY DAILY CREED
Author Unknown
Let me be a little kinder,
Let me be a little blinder
To the faults of those about me.
Let me praise a little more,
Let me be, when I am weary,
Just a little bit more cherry.
Let me serve a little better,
Those that I am striving for,
Let me be a little braver
When temptations bid me weaver.
Let me strive a little harder
To be all that I should be.
Let me be a little meeker,
With the brother that is weaker,
Let me think more of my neighbor
And little less of me.
(this poem may have originated from a song but I cannot confirm. There is a song by Glen Campbell that have these words but he may have taken them from a “poem”. I will update this once I find out more).

Ruth A Hilman says
I was missing a line of the poem and glad I found it here. My poem has some differences
in some verses. Can I print this from your site or is it a copyrighted poem? One of the
choices of links said “author unknown”, but that may not be true. I live in Oregon, land
of lots of rain right now. In fact we have a leak in the kitchen! Our rain keeps Oregon green, but
causes flooding, also. Sincerely, Ruth Hilman
